Logical note- looking at the described scent notes, its fucking genius. The approach of picking these scents that mirror notes of a familiar warmth profile of a musk and vanilla, but the uniqueness and complexity and slight confusion it must bring to some, to smell something that carries such a similar pattern but with ultimately different source, UHH. What I mean is, when thinking about the way a musk(maybe with a sandalwood support) “vibrates” or rather the arch of it(thinking of it visually) is mirrored with the base notes chosen. And then honey bringing this calm, and slightly back of nose/throat “sweet” like characteristic that a vanilla has, but in a warmer more candle like manner(which also harmonises with the candle wax base), not the loudness that vanilla often brings, like the loudness of high beam compared to an old flashlight. Then building the personality of the scent with the violet, sweet cherry, and then then necessary “brightness” of the narcissus, like that of a the way a vinegar or a lime can bring brightness and necessary balance to Thai flavours in food, the narcissus brings that to the honey. This is such great creation of a scent, really enjoy the approach.
